At this year’s Fête des Lumières, a French lighting company turned the Célestins, Théâtre de Lyon into a huge interactive lighting game called the “Urban Flipper” where the sides of the buildings, the windows and balconies were used as possible routes for the game. Bumpers and flippers were projected onto the side of the building and coloured lights shone on to display the neat game. Authentic pinball sounds were heard through speakers around the theatre to complete the effect.
